About Tara
Tara Davoli is a dedicated Milford Community member and strong advocate. She holds a Bachelors degree in psychology from S.U.N.Y Cortland, NY, and Masters in education- Guidance and Community counseling from Duquesne University
Tara is a passionate advocate for children with special needs and families with foster and adopted children.
She supports students having access to a safe and supportive learning environment. She is passionate about students making academic achievements, gaining skills, abilities, and nurturing their natural talents.
Tara has 3 children across all ages. One is studying to become a pilot, one is in middle school, and one is in elementary school here at Heron Pond. Within her own district, she has served roles on the playground and budget committees. She has participated in forums on fair funding for schools and is informed how the state affects the local districts and advocacy as the state level. As a public member, she has supported, attended, and advocated at school board and budget meetings.
Tara has worked her way through college and moved multiple times to support her husband, who is an Air Traffic Controller here in Nashua, settling into the Milford community in 2015. Tara comes from a family of educators. Her sister is a 20-year retired Science Teacher and Special Ed Principal in Syracuse, NY. Tara has learned firsthand the challenges that teachers and administrators have managing their lives and coming to work each day to give their all to the students they are entrusted with. She is fiscally responsible and socially progressive. Tara brings a transparent, straightforward, and thoughtful approach to working on a team. She is proud to serve the community and work alongside families, educators, and staff to strengthen The Milford School District.
